Hi there! Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you’ve been in it before, I’m honored to get to know you and be part of your journey. As a psychologist, I’ve received specialized training in evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and EMDR. I use these tools flexibly to help you understand patterns that keep you stuck, find new ways of coping, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
That said, therapy with me isn’t just about techniques. My work is grounded in relational-cultural and feminist perspectives, which means I believe healing happens in safe, authentic relationships and that your experiences don’t exist in a vacuum. Together, we’ll explore not only what’s happening inside of you but also how your environment, relationships, and lived identities shape your story.
If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, struggling in relationships, or carrying the weight of past experiences — you’re in the right place. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities and strive to create a space where you can show up as your full self. As a queer person myself, I also love working with other LGBTQ+ folks, and parents of LGBTQ+ youth, as they navigate their own journeys of self-understanding, healing, and belonging.
Creating a private practice has felt like coming home. Everyday I get to do what I love most - use my training and creativity to help people heal and create spaces of authentic belonging in their own lives. Before moving into private practice, I served as a Clinical Assistant Professor for both Texas A&M University and the University of Texas at Austin, gaining experience in direct client care, research, and supervision/training.
